Job Description
*36 OR 48 HOUR OPTION
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
RTO: MAX 7 days
WEEKENDS: Every other
HOLIDAYS: Expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if needed
FLOATING: Within facility and to sister campus if needed
COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year
PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics - Medical - Surgical
RATIO: 1:5
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
REQUIRED SKILLS: BCLS

COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

RTO- 5-7 days MAX, must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays
Travelers must be willing to float, EOW and holidays as needed (if unit requirement)

GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
TWO supervisory references must be on profile at time of submittal; Client does not accept Charge Nurse references.
Locals- Accepted at same rate
Floating within the hospital is required (Travelers will be first to float- Candidates must be comfortable floating with no restrictions or special requests as long as it within their experience scope)
FLOATING BETWEEN CAMPUSES: For Eastside (Main/South), Macon (Main/North), or Columbus (Midtown/Northside) travelers must be willing to float to nearby sister campuses (within a few miles) - no exceptions will be made! – CLEAR YOUR CANDIDATES when submitting to these locations
Background Policy: Ensure any known background hits are highlighted in submission body for review, facility reviews each background/license hit on individual biases
Return Staff Policy: Must be away 1 full year from all Piedmont Facilities to return as traveler
*VERY IMPORTANT – Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start.
