Position Description
We Can Accommodate Automatic Restrictions and have an opening for a Class A Driver for our Driver Development Program in Owensboro KY

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Weekly Minimum Guarantee During Training: $1000.00
• Weekly Minimum Guarantee After Training: $1300
• Miles Pay: $0.47 per Mile with 2500 Miles per Week
• Stops Pay: $11.00 per Stop with 8 - 10 Stops per Week
• Drop and Hook Pay: $6.00 per Drop/Hook
• Class A CDL license required
Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

Requirements
• 9 months or less of CDL driving experience
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
• Ability to:
• • Follow written and/or oral instructions
• Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts
Responsibilities
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight
• Perform other duties as assigned
