JOB TITLE: WATER TREATMENT & SUSTAINABILITY TECHNICIAN
Job Summary: The Water Treatment & Sustainability Technician pos...Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
The ideal candidate would have 2-3 years’ experience in a Water Treatment processing or similar job role. Secondary education via a technical college in the fields of Industrial Systems, Water Treatment Processing, Engineering or similar degree programs is preferred. (Or) similar work experience and educational attainment.
Additional qualifications would include either educational attainment towards Sustainability certification, or similar fields, (or) direct work experience either performing Company sustainability tasks or assisting with Company sustainability initiatives.
Applicants must possess basic mechanical abilities with problem solving/troubleshooting skills along with considerable knowledge of principals of the operation of pumps, motors and related plant equipment.
As a condition of employment, employees in this role must either possess, or obtain during their Introductory Period of Employment with Terrapin Beer Company, Industrial Operator Certification as obtained through the Georgia Environmental Compliance Assistance Program.
Applicants, without an accommodation, must have the ability to frequently reach, twist, stoop, bend, crouch, stand and walk for 8-12 hour shifts and must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
Applicants must be able to wear personal protective equipment and work in varying weather conditions that includes humidity and seasonal temperature changes.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a comprehensive background check in line with Company policy.
