Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Details
Role Responsibilities:
The Senior Accountant position reports to the Controller and is responsible for financial statement preparation for a multi-company enterprise
Reconcile sub-leger to general ledger account balances
Balance Sheet reconciliations to include, Cash, Prepaid Expenses, Insurance, Fixed Assets, Property Taxes, Debt
Review of all payroll related balance sheet accounts
Participate in the month-end close
Prepare financial statements for all entities, including consolidated
Maintain fixed assets schedules
File sales & use, withholding & unemployment taxes, in multiple states
Support annual audit of financial statements and 5500 audit
Participate in annual renewal of insurance policies
Supervise accounting support staff as needed
Work on special projects as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Above average Excel skills required
CPA, preferred
5+ years progressive accounting experience required
Solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills
Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
