Construction Estimator – Exterior Masonry Finishing – Base Salary to 90k/year – Athens, GA
• Our client is a leading manufacturer and installer of stains and color solutions for concrete and masonry. They partner with architects, contractors, and property owners to transform brick, block, stone, concrete, or other masonry surfaces. Projects range from fifty story precast high rises to Main Street restoration projects. They’ve been around since 1988 and have a reputation for thorough, quality work.
• In this role, Estimator will be responsible for bidding on the larger commercial projects that are more than the Salespeople can take on. While they would be working alongside Operations and Sales, this is strictly an Estimator position, and the right person must love numbers and spreadsheets. This is an in-office position out of the Athens office, with great potential for growth.
Responsibilities
• Generate thorough, detail-driven take-offs based on engineered plans for large scale commercial masonry staining jobs
• Generate quantities and costs for labor, equipment, materials, etc., using primarily Excel
• Coordinate closely with Operations and Sales teams throughout the bidding process
• Travel (10%) to high profile job sites for walk throughs and client visits
• Work flexibly throughout various departments to help the company as needed
Qualifications
• 3+ years Estimating in commercial construction, masonry is a plus
• In depth knowledge of means and methods for exterior trades
• Demonstrated mastery in Excel, Salesforce experience is a plus
• Self-motivated personality, must love the numbers and details that make up Estimating
• Ability to work in the Athens office
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work well with the team and clients
Compensation
• Base salary in the 75k – 90k/year range plus bonuses/commission
