Job Description Job Description:
• Manage support request for all UCBC applications.
• Collaborate with application vendors and/or IT to tune or troubleshoot problems.
• Monitor applications, and document and analyze reoccurring problems to find permanent solutions.
• Enable application best practices per vendor and verify security measures are in place and effective.
• Work closely with vendors and IT to ensure appropriate access controls are in place and active audit logs are running.
• Assist IT with support for physicians and staff related to applications, computers, printers, telephones, copiers, faxes, scanners, and other electronic technologies in the practice.
• Work closely with Application Administrator.
• Plan, coordinate, test, and communicate application changes, upgrades/maintenance schedules, projects, and new services with Application Administrator/IT and users, ensuring business operations will operate correctly in current and future environments.
• Train all new employees on applications.
• Check off the employee to ensure knowledge was gained and retained after 4 weeks of employment.
• Communicate gaps in learning to their appropriate managers.
• Create and maintain training documentation.
Requirements:
• 2 years' applications experience
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude
