PHYSICAL THERAPIST - INPATIENT : Evaluates patients, plans for and provides therapeutic interventions in a transdisciplinary/team approach. Responsible for the communication and coordination of treatment programs with other team members including the patient/family. Directly supervises assistants, interns and other support personnel, participates in program developments, continuous improvement and clinical education; and provides in-services to staff, hospital personnel and the community. Will also be expected to be a member of a collaborative team which is patient focused, functional outcome based and patient/family centered.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
• EDUCATION :
• Bachelor's Degree
• BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
• State Licensure
• EXPERIENCE :
• Up to 1 year in a related field
• SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE :
• Preferred physical therapist has 1 year of experience, or a recent quality clinical, in acute care and/or rehab, non-orthopedic, outpatient.
• This position will be for adult inpatient acute care with occasional cross coverage as needed in our outpatient multidisciplinary rehab (non-orthopedic)
