Full Job Description GARDEN CENTER MERCHANDISER
Are you a plant lover, gardener or floral enthusiast? Is the garden center and outdoors your happy place? Are you retired or looking to rejoin the workforce? If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, please reach out to us!
$15/Hour
Includes Kroger locations in Owensboro, KY
RESPONSIBILITIES: (include but not Limited to):
· Receive and stage a variety of outdoor plants in areas designated by store
· Display plants per the store approved Plan-O-Gram (POG)
· Assist store in watering / developing a watering plan with the floral department
· Ensure proper signage is in place
· Maintain a Safe and Clean display area
· Remove and record unsaleable plant material
· Email photos and summary of tasks performed upon completion of service call
· Develop a positive working relationship with store managers and associates
· Document every visit with notes and pictures using the Repsly app
REQUIREMENTS:
· Smart phone
· Able to lift 15-30 lbs. repetitively on occasions
· Dependable transportation
· Understand and follow a Plan-O-Gram
· Outgoing and able to interact with store personnel and customers
· Merchandising Experience preferable; will train those with a positive attitude
· Document every visit with notes and pictures using the Repsly app
OTHER:
· Dates: Starts immediately
· Flexible hours; vary by store assignment(s)
· Competitive hourly pay; paid bi-weekly
