The Administrative Assistant is the point of contact for employees, clients, vendors, and contractors. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering/routing calls, and handling mail and deliveries. Directs internal and external inquires to the appropriate source for accurate information. Other job duties include supporting, operations, and other departments in various aspects. This position will require some weekend and overtime work.
Core Responsibilities :
• Be a point of contact for employees, vendors, clients, and customers by answering questions related to products and services.
• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the correct parties.
• Process and direct incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Process will call orders and payments for public and employee orders.
• Sort and prepare payroll and operating checks for distribution.
• Process, sort, and file documents for HR, Finance, and Operations, such as raw receivers, co-pack receivers, employee files.
• Prepares various monthly reports such as production volume, and outside storage volume.
• Updates various outside storage charges and inventories.
• Assist Cost Accounting, Plant Operations, Human Resources in data entry functions, as needed.
• Updates plantwide communication boards with appropriate information

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and business analytic tools
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and interest.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of Associate degree.
• Knowledge of Database software; HRIS software; Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective communication and people skills
• Strong work ethic with partiality for action

• Self-motivated & goal oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and business analytic tools
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must pass E-Verify
