We are looking for an individual to join our robust and dynamic team as we continue to grow. The Press-Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up his/her own press brake and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. The ideal applicant will have experience in programming a press-brake and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include:
• Programming hydraulic CNC press-brake to make conforming parts
• Changing out of tooling (dies)
• Forming / Bending parts on press-brake to produce conforming parts according to the blueprint and shop orders
• Measuring parts using calipers and protractors to ensure parts conform to blueprint and shop order specifications
• Following company’s quality processes and procedures
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
• Other duties as assigned
Education:
• High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience/Qualifications:
• Capable of reading blue prints
• Capable of converting between standard and metric
• Capable of reading various measuring devices in both standard and metric, including calipers and protractors
• Experience programming CNC press-brake
