We are looking for an individual to join our robust and dynamic team as we continue to grow. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing inspection duties and adhering to ISO 9001 procedures and instructions. The ideal applicant will have great attention to detail and is capable of working in a team oriented environment.
Responsibilities Include:
• Inspects and approves all outgoing products for shipping
• Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations
• Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services
• Measure product dimension, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications
• Document inspection outcomes by completing reports and logs
• Properly fill out non-conformance report when necessary
• Properly fill out first article of inspection forms when necessary
• Notify Quality Manager of any supplier non-conformances/corrective actions needed
• Conduct PPAP’s as needed – fill out the forms/excel template
• Properly input time/digital data into JobBoss collection terminal
• Must maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to all safety rules
• Other duties as assigned
Education:
• High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience/Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
• Good math and technical skills
• Ability to properly read calipers and micrometers
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
