Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare and mail daily HCFAs
• Manages the status of accounts and collaborates with patients, insurance companies and third party institutions to identify inconsistencies
• Issuing bills, receipts, and invoices
• Appealing and reviewing denied and unpaid claims
• Provide solutions to any problems
Requirements and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience as a medical billing specialist or similar role preferred.
• Excellent eye for detail
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills are a must
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be comfortable dealing with numbers and processing financial information
