WHAT YOU’LL DO
Seakeeper has customers and partners around the globe. As our Accounting Assistant, you’ll play an important role in our accounting department by helping to keep the company organized in several key accounting processes, but also making sure incoming calls make it to the correct person and creating a great first impression in the process! You’ll support our internal financial operations through the following:
• Reaching out to vendors monthly to collect credits based on Vendor Return Authorizations
• Managing vehicle and vessel registrations and all supporting documentation
• Supporting the expense report process by reviewing and uploading receipts
• Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls, providing basic information, and assisting with customer service related activities
• Ensuring that non-disclosure agreements, W9’s, and insurance certificates for vendors are on file, complete, and current including the following:
• Requesting documentation from vendors as needed
• Assisting in vendor 1099 reporting
• Setting up documents in DocuSign, ensuring proper routing and document completion
• Assisting with documentation preparation for audit and management reviews
• Contributing to word processing, scanning, copying, and other administrative support as needed
• Reaching out to vendors who send paper bills and converting to paperless billing
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

MUST-HAVES
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of administrative experience in an office environment
• Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-centric attitude at all times
• Data entry skills and strong command of Microsoft Office programs
• Be professional, responsive, resourceful, and flexible
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Superior time management, multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills
NICE-TO-HAVES
• Associates or bachelor’s degree
• Accounting and customer service experience in the field of manufacturing
MORE DETAILS YOU’LL WANT TO KNOW
• On-the-job training will be provided (we will help you become the Seakeeper expert!)
• This position will require you to work onsite two days/week at our Leesport, PA location with the option to work remotely for the remainder of the days
• You’ll report to the Accounting Supervisor, based in California, MD
• This position has immense growth potential. We are looking for someone who will prove themselves quickly and position themselves to take on future positions within the department!

It is a small but mighty team that covers a lot of ground, ensuring the behind-the-scenes work gets done to keep Seakeeper operating smoothly.
