We are seeking candidates to join our Truck/Trailer business development team at Carrier Corporation located in Syracuse, NY, for Spring 2023.  As a Truck Trailer Americas Business Development intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to activities and tasks listed below: Work side-by-side with VP/GM delivering work for clients Collaborate with a team of peers to research and propose a solution to a current business challenge Participate in a cross-functional project led by Carrier interns Interact with Carrier sales and operations leaders As a Business Development intern, you will conduct market research and assist with the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and questionnaires (general and due diligence), and various ad hoc requests Familiarize yourself with the company's vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives Perform business intelligence/competitive intelligence research using government websites and our Salesforce databaseCollate and maintain customer information Work with stakeholders to understand what insights are needed to support their business goals Various duties that enhance the productivity and procedures of the company  Experience / Qualifications US Citizen or Permanent Resident COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Candidates should possess the ability to work hands-on in the Lab. Demonstrated proficient computer and analytical experience with engineering development tools such as Matlab and Pro-E. A software background is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report, writing, and presenting technical information. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, organized, and able to follow directions well.  Knowledge and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment are essential for success in this position. Education / Certifications Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, majoring in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred #EarlyCareers   Carrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
