About our Client
Founded in 2021 our client is one-stop financing of construction loans and flexible mortgage loans for small to mid-sized solar project developers underserved in the market today. By financing solar-like real estate, our client offers long-term, fixed-rate debt that matches the operational life of an asset, and a lower cost of capital.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Head of Marketing who will lead all our marketing activities from social media and digital campaigns to advertising and creative projects.
Head of Marketing responsibilities includes but are not limited to. developing plans to help establish our brand, allocating resources to different projects, and setting short-term and long-term department goals. Ultimately, you will run our Marketing department in ways that promote higher profitability and competitiveness.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the executive team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies internally and externally
• Oversee and grow the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by securing new accounts
• This opportunity includes 25% travel to meet with clients investors and the corporate team.
• Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
• Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team
• Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with clients, management, creative and content teams, and distribution partners, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services
• Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
• Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales
• Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis
• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
• Set, monitor, and report on team goals
• Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
• Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
• Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)
• Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
• Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives
Qualifications
• Degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
• 10 + years of successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns
• Extensive experience in financial modeling
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
• Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
• Proficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design software
• Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google Adwords
• Established portfolio of media and PR contacts
