Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Director of Nursing to provide compassionate care and clinical management for medical complex infants, toddlers, and young children in our PPEC Center . The DON works in conjunction with other members of our multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for our amazing patients so that they can achieve the best outcomes possible. The PPEC is opened Monday Friday. No nights, weekends, or holidays. This is an amazing opportunity for a pediatric nurse to gain management experience in a FUN, UNIQUE, PEDIATRIC setting.

• Personal protective equipment provided
• Temperature and daily COVID screenings
• Sanitizing, disinfecting, and frequent cleaning procedures
Qualifications for DON Position:
• Active FL RN License
• Two years of pediatric nursing experience is required
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification (can be obtained during orientation)
DON Position Details:
• Coordinate care for children ages birth to eight years old in a developmentally appropriate center-based setting
• Provide direct patient care as needed
• Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing interventions and collaborate with physicians to improve patient outcomes
• Contribute to nursing education and professional development of staff
• Participate as a vital member of the multidisciplinary team in the PPEC
