As a member of our team, you will have responsibilities critical to Federal and State compliance, ASC 740/FAS 109 accounting, and planning projects, with an emphasis on fixed asset depreciation calculations.What will you do?Quarterly and annual worldwide tax provision processAccount reconciliations and tax expenseResearch and planning projects as they relate to tax accounting and tax reporting effectsTax analysis on related financial statement issuesDecisions on how the tax sections of the financial statements are interpreted, prepared, and drafted.Maintain and develop the Tax Department procedures and controls for regulatory compliance projects, including SOX 404, FAS 109, FIN 48.Provide support to the Senior Manager, Tax Accounting with overall objectives of the Tax Department and other responsibilities as assigned. Provide strategic counsel and analysis to other key Tax Department teams (Tax Compliance; Tax Controversies; Tax Strategy and Planning) and other departments of the Company, and Company Management on achieving their purposes and objectives.Provide support for tax department initiatives, including process improvement projects in areas of Tax AccountingComplete other job duties and projects as assigned, which may include coordinating research tools, maintaining documentation structure, provision file administration, security, tax account definitions, distribution of legal entity organizational charts, new account definitions, and financial reports, etc.Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following:Bachelor's Degree with a major in Accounting, Tax or Law is required5+ years of experience at a major public accounting firm and/or tax department of a multinational corporation3+ years of experience at a major public accounting firm and/or tax department of a multinational corporation with Master’s DegreeCPA preferredKnowledge of federal, state, and/or international corporate tax lawRequired experience includes US tax compliance, fixed assets/depreciation concepts and strategies, electronic research, and ASC 740/FAS 109Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams)Experience with SAP, Bloomberg Tax Provision, and CorpTax is preferredStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work with employees at all levels within the organizationPositive, team-oriented attitudeDemonstrated ability to work independentlyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly motivated and self-directedStrong decision-making skillsAbility to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize tasksMosaic is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status.Mosaic participates in the US E-Verify program.Must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesWe Help the World Grow the Food It Needs - Apply today and join our team!
