Carlton Fields is seeking a Case Clerk for its Tampa office.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm in a case clerk or similar role with a focus on litigation. A college degree is preferred.
Qualified candidates must be proactive, flexible, have excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and experience with legal document management systems; iManage or Filesite experience is a plus. The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on business needs is essential.
Job Duties Include:
• Document retention and organization
• Case management and tracking
• Data entry
• Research and analysis
• Draft and distribute internal and external correspondence
• Support paralegals and attorneys within the practice group
• Electronic Filing with Courts
Requirements:
• Knowledge of legal terminology
• Ability to multi-task
• Prioritize work load to meet deadlines
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and other similar applications.
• Experience with legal document management systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Dependable and reliable
