Manager of Community Partnerships
Adecco is assisting a local client with the search for a direct hire opportunity in the Tampa Bay Market for a manager of community partnerships. This a non-profit organization with a mission to save struggling, young, at-risk readers from illiteracy through the power of singing. Joining this team means that you will be doing something significant and meaningful about this fundamental societal problem.
We are hiring a Manager of Community Partnerships, reporting to the Executive Director, to perform two key tasks: (1) shares management of the organization’s workforce which comprises 6-12 part-time “coaches” who facilitate program completion. This entails both systems (technology) training, review and updating of processes and procedures as well as the day-to-day management of, and reporting on, a team of family coaches, and (2) manage relationships with community leaders, school principals, teachers and others.
The Manager of Community Partnerships will develop and implement strategies to ensure that children complete the program as specified; he/she will develop and implement strategies to ensure the timely return of loaner tablets; he/she will collect family stories for use in promotional materials and grants on a regular basis.
The successful candidate will be energetic, flexible, and capable of wearing many hats in a fast-paced environment while working with a small team. The organization is growing quickly, and a constant review of existing policies and procedures will be required. This role requires excellent presentation and relationship-building skills and high degree of comfort with PowerPoint and Excel.
Qualifications
3-5 years’ experience in processes management
3-5 years’ experience as a program manager
3-5 years’ experience in distance workforce management
Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
B.A. in business or related field a plus
Must be tech-savvy
Excellent writing and communications skills required
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Prior non-profit work a plus
Experience working with low-income families a plus
Spanish speaking a plus
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (10% of this role will require site visits in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties)
This is a full-time, in-house position (no remote work)
Salary range: $42k - $50K per year based on experience
