Job Description
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Big Data Engineer - REMOTE for a FULL-TIME assignment with one of our premier Healthcare Services clients in a REMOTE role.
***Position based in EST ***

Responsibilities
• Hands-on software development in Python, SQL, Apache Spark.
• Design and build high scale, near real time and batch data processing pipelines.
• Partner with your peers in Product, Design, Scrum framework, and technology to develop our next generation data platform.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Guide and deliver meaningful and thorough code reviews.
• Ensure performance, quality, and accuracy of our data.
• Qualifications
Required
Required Skills
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent working experience.
• 1+ Years of Apache Spark development experience (PySpark, Python, SQL).
• Share a strong passion for new technologies and driving innovation.
• Deliver high quality, production ready code, this is a high priority for you.
• Eager to always learn new technologies and expand your skillset.
• A creative and inventive software development expert.
