Position Summary
Conservis is seeking an iOS Application Developer to design and develop the mobile applications for our SaaS-based farm management platform. Our solutions encompass a broad range of mobile, web and loT technologies, bringing together operational data, financials, and machine data to enable control, visibility and actionable insight into large-scale agricultural operations. You will have the opportunity to build mobile applications that integrate them with devices in the field and services in the cloud. This role has a great opportunity to make a big impact in the rapidly evolving ag-tech landscape as Conservis continues its mission to help farmers meet the increasing global demand for agricultural products.
What You'll Do
The essential responsibilities for this role include:
* Build native mobile iOS apps
* Utilize Swift & Cloud platforms
* Iterate on design and functionality with our product owners
* Collaborate and work closely with a team of mobile developers, testers, product owners
* Able to make decisions, define required changes, and communicate modifications to the entire project team jointly and independently
* Continuously drive technical and process improvements
* Pro-actively consult industry best practices in mobile software design
* Define and evolve the application designs for both row crops and permanent crops mobile apps
* Leverage Bluetooth wireless communications
What You'll Need
The core competencies and qualifications we're looking for include:
Technical Skillset
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
* 3+ years of IOS development experience
* Proficient in Swift and Objective-C
* Knowledge of Apple's design guidelines and coding standards
* Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git
* Experience with RESTful APIs
* Experience with Firebase
* Experience with Unit Testing
* Core Data knowledge
* Working knowledge of UIKit
* Ability to effectively use instruments for iOS - Leaks, Object Allocations, etc.
* Knowledge of good memory management technicians (what goes in dealloc, viewDidUnload)
* Experience working on an app published in the App Store
Collaboration
* Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
* Understanding of software design, development and testing
* Ability to work in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
* Willingness and ability to learn and apply new technologies.
* Proven track record of executing on the full product lifecycle (inception through deprecation) to create highly flexible and reliable Apps.
* Self-directed with a start-up mindset.

Who We Are
Conservis was built around enterprise sustainability and figuring out how we could help people do more with less. The year was 2008.
