The CISO’s purpose is to ensure that an appropriate level of cybersecurity governance, controls, and capabilities are in place to protect Citi’s and its clients’ information assets, with end-to-end accountability across the firm. The Training Team sits within the CISO Business Office and reports to the Training Program Manager.The Role:Within CISO, the Information Security Training team educates Citi staff on Citi’s Information Security requirements and the staff’s responsibility to comply with those requirements. The team deploys targeted training content to specific target groups (i.e. SOC analysts, ISOs, Application developers, Infrastructure developers, and other technical cybersecurity resources).Additionally, the team curates and develops technical and professional development training for CISO staff.Responsibilities:Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of targeted training to ensure that all appropriate personnel identified are properly trained on their responsibilities of how to protect CitiPartner with SMEs to develop technical content and mold into a format that is optimal for learning and retentionCurate and arrange live, recorded, and self-paced training coursesManage the multiple types of training utilized within information security at Citi: home-grown, vendor-provided, live, recorded, etc.Ensure training completion statistics are properly reported so that escalations can be performed appropriately for any non-complianceSupport related vendor relationships, including Third Party Risk Management requirements, security assessments, and performance managementAssist with all audit, regulatory, and client inquiries related to IS trainingSupport the CISO People Strategy, including but not limited to career progression, training curriculums, staff development, talent acquisition, staff retention, and diversity & inclusionSupport the CISO Training Manager with the day-to-day operations of the training teamQualifications:7+ years of proven professional experience in a learning environment with knowledge of the training development processExperience in instructional design and developing technical training contentAbility to work with subject matter experts to translate technical subject matter into digestible learning contentAbility to deliver on unexpected/ad-hoc requests, change direction at a moment's notice, be solution-driven in problem solving, and remain productive in response to a dynamic work environmentAbility to work independently and have a deep sense of ownership of deliverables and project completionAbility to build and maintain relationships among stakeholders and partners, while effectively managing expectationsExperience in Cyber Security Services and Information Security industries is a big plusStrong interpersonal skills including relationship building and conflict resolution and ability to interface with all levels of managementStrong attention to detailExcellent written and oral communication skillsEducation:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
