The role you’ll contribute:
The Physician Relations Representative- Ambulatory Services is responsible for growing ambulatory services volumes, market share and brand preference for AdventHealth West Florida Division.  The position is responsible for maximizing growth opportunities, ensuring physician satisfaction with a specific focus of meeting with community & hospital employed physicians, office staffs, executing on new business development, service line growth and physician communication.
The position works collaboratively with key stakeholders including physicians, business development, ambulatory services leadership, strategic planning, physician relations, marketing, care navigation, corporate communications, and service line leadership to achieve overall market performance and business strategy goals.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
• Relationship Development:  Manage targeted physicians/practices for the purposes of referral development and retention focusing on Care Pavilions, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, supporting outpatient imaging services with focus on primary care and medical specialties,
Prospecting:
• Identify, initiate, and maintain contact with key referral sources.
• Develop target physicians in assigned territory for the purpose of presenting services and fostering business relationships.
• Manage prospect list and territory database for highest impact and to meet assigned goals.
• Responsible for candidate and new hire experience components, to include, but not limited to: supporting hiring managers with interview preparation, serving as liaison and escalating as needed, completing new hire onboarding process, and has oversight of orientation process and other new employee requirements, such as The Whole Care Experience. Supports processes for immigration regulatory compliance.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, including verbal, written and public speaking (platform skills)
• Ability to develop and sustain professional relationships and loyalty to the hospital as well as develop new referral sources
• Demonstrate initiative, poise, confidence, and willingness to accept challenges.
• Ability to travel between hospital and physician offices.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the position
• Must possess good time management skills and be customer and results oriented.
• Familiarity with hospital operations, language, and roles.
• Ability to verbally articulate service line and product attributes
• Ability to actively listen to physician and practice needs for hospital inpatient/outpatient services.
• Ability to conceptualize and generate sales within a fluid environment, with skill in identifying and setting priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with physicians, employees, allied health providers and healthcare leadership.
• Demonstrated writing ability.
• Knowledge of the hospital sales industry.
• Self-directed with an ability to oversee multiple projects/activities simultaneously.
•           Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience
•           Minimum of 6 years healthcare sales experience, preferably in hospital sales; comparable clinical experience and knowledge may be considered in lieu of sales experience.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance to include liability and property damage coverage
