When our patients win with Better Health, Physician Partners wins.The OpportunityWe are looking for a VP, Expansion Market Operations leader who will support the overall growth strategy, developing new lines of business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Overseeing the implementation of new market development or acquisition integration planDeveloping market strategic plan that comprises operational, financial, and growth prioritiesLeading value-based care transition and provider compensation plan rolloutNegotiating value-based agreements with key payer partners in marketManaging the relationships of the health plan partners and vendors, as needed, throughout integrationDriving necessary actions to achieve profitabilityDriving medical expense Initiative identification and implementation processSupporting sourcing and hiring of local team and leadershipPartnering with FP&A on expansion market pro forma developmentDriving organic growth playbook execution and marketing tactics to grow assigned membershipOverseeing integration and transition plans; partnering with new market resources and partners to execute against key initiatives for that marketSupporting and leading other internal projects as directedJob RequirementsBachelor’s Degree required, MBA or higher preferred7+ years of experience owning P&L, market operations, business development, network development, and/or sales and marketing functionsProven track record of growing top and bottom-line business resultsPrior industry experience specific to government-sponsored healthcare and primary care network developmentExperience developing and executing a multi-state growth strategy preferredProven M&A and post-merger integration experience preferredProven experience organizing and directing a team; experience managing team members and leading through influence (without direct/hard-line reporting relationships)Experience building high-performing teams and leading transformational change effortsAbility to work cross-functionally with multiple teams; ability to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable communicating with senior-level leadership, providers, and health plansStrong interpersonal and presentation skillsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsMust be results-oriented with a focus on quality execution and deliveryAppreciation of cultural diversity and sensitivity towards target patient populationsProficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaborationAbility to travel up to 50% of the timeKey AttributesHas a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and models the behaviors of core values and guiding principlesAn effective team player who contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitmentsIs able to work within our Better Health environment by facing tasks and challenges with energy and passionPursues activities with focus and drive, defines work in terms of success, and can be counted on to complete goalsDemonstrated ability to handle data with confidentiality5eWgKfLuxr
