Learn more about us by visiting www.yoursouthtampadentist.comThis is a *full-time opportunity*, with patient care *Mon-Thursday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm,* No nights or weekends.*Your Role as a Dental Hygienist*· Ability to establish rapport with patients through a warm and gentle chairside manner· Exceptionally skilled in maintaining proper safety protocols for patients and team· Patient screening procedures, such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting, and taking blood pressure and pulse· Removing calculus and plaque all surfaces of the teeth· Applying preventive materials to the teeth and fluorides· Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling· Highly trainable and comfortable with new information and technology· Focused on developing professionally within our practice vision; committed to providing an unprecedented level of care to patients· Other duties as assigned*What We Need From You**Position Requirements*· Associate or advanced degree in Dental Hygiene· Current State certification/license as required for Florida· Knowledge of Dentrix, Dexis, or similar software*Salary Range: $35-41 p/hour based on experience **What We’ll Offer You*We offer a competitive wage and generous *benefits package*.* Medical* Paid Time Off* Holidays* Dental* 401k.Wang and Cortes Dental located in Tampa, FL is a multi-specialty, private group practice recognized as one of the most professional and compassionate dental practices in our community.
