Job Description
*Major Function*This position is responsible for assisting the physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, and other medically trained personnel with the administration of regenerative care as outlined by the Medical Director of Orthobiologics.*Illustrative Duties*Employees in this position are responsible to assist the Medical Director, Physicians, Physicians Assistant, and ARNPs of NSI/Orthobiologics with all regenerative medical evaluations and procedures to include assisting with obtaining and documenting medical/surgical history, completing Independent Medical Evaluations (IME),facilitating pre-op meetings, creating andmodifying patient care plans, ordering further diagnostic evaluations, performing procedure/surgery prep, vital signs, phlebotomy, bone marrow and PRP extraction and administration, centrifuge use, medication prep and administration, and EHR documentation of all medical events/procedures. Employee is to work under the direction of the Medical Director/Physician/PA/ARNP and as a team member with co-workers of various educational, experience, and licensure backgrounds to carry out the mission of the organization which includes but is not limited to, performing work in patient care, educating patients and family, assisting with joint/ trigger point injections, and overseeing facility maintenance and equipment care.*Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills*Thorough knowledge of parameters of your specific license is required, as well as, which functions of your licensure are approved for utilization by the Medical Director of NSI/Orthobiologics. Employees should possess strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Employees should have the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and patients/customers to facilitate professional relationships. The ability to think ahead and predict issues before they arrive, as well as formulating solutions tothose issues, is a key component to success as an employee with NSI/Orthobiologics.*Minimum Requirements*• Valid license/certificate in specialty area for Florida• ACLS/BLS certification for health care providers• Able to travel to a variety of offices within Central Florida frequently and the State ofFlorida/Georgia occasionally.• Flexibility in schedule and work location• Basic Computer Knowledge• Reliable transportation and flexibility in work assignments• Great attitude and passionate about patient education and improving patient outcomes• Knowledge of sterile technique*Preferred Requirements*• 5 years of experience in your licensed profession• Experience with Conscious Sedation• Clean Driving Record*Responsibilities*• Maintain patient records and confidentiality• Must be able to respond to urgent/emergent situations effectively• Maintain exam rooms, lab, procedure rooms, supplies, medications etc.• Assist physicians/ARNP/PA as directed• Performed other duties as assigned• Pack for, prepare, and execute travel assignments• Locate, drive to, and navigate quickest route to work locationsPay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hourMedical specialties:* Medical-SurgicalPhysical setting:* Acute care* Clinic* OutpatientSupplemental schedule:* On callAbility to commute/relocate:* Brandon, FL 33511: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)License/Certification:* RN License (Required)Work Location: One location
