Your Role
This role supports the SE Region HR leaders and all employees as required with a professional demeanor and pro-active approach. You should thrive when working alongside employees in a fast-paced professional environment. You must be well versed in general HR policies and procedures to help guide employees upon request. This position requires you to be detail-oriented, prioritize well, and interface with the office leadership, clients, employees, and candidates.
What You Will Do • Work closely with regional HR leaders on employee relations, recruiting, learning and professional development programs
• Assist as point of contact with staff
• Enter changes into HRIS Database including new hires/exits, compensation, job changes, department changes, transfers etc.
• Facilitate new hire coordination, setup and assemble new hire paperwork
• Coordinate new hire orientations and exit interviews
• Coordinate employee initial evaluation process
• Maintain personnel files
• Run reports from Workday HRIS System
• Process and track employee referral bonus payouts
• Track annual review completion
• Support benefits open enrollment and provide guidance on benefits programs
• Assist with the immigration and visa sponsorship process
• Support university outreach efforts including developing and posting job descriptions, coordinating intern committee training, shipping career fair materials, and supporting intern hiring committees with applicant review, career fair and interview coordination, offer preparation and pre-boarding
• Maintain data integrity in the Workday Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and maintain records on all recruiting related activity
• Understand all policies and ensure compliance
• Ensure compliance with areas that may include affirmative action, anti-discrimination, health and safety programs as well as all federal and state laws and regulations
• Other duties and responsibilities as appropriate
Your Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field
• 5+ years of experience in HR related position
• Human Resources Certification preferred
• Experience working with HRIS (Workday preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
• Organizational and process improvement skills
• Fundamental understanding of Compensation and Benefits programs
• Must be detail-oriented, proactive and client-service focused
• Written and verbal communication skills, including creating employee communication material
• Ability to process a high volume of confidential data with integrity and professionalism
• Ability to collaborate with diverse, creative, professional people in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be able to operate in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
• Must be experienced in ly managing complexities in workload
• Work in the office 4 days per week.
