ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY: The Critical & Creative Design Thinking program (CCDT) is a dynamic and rapidly growing program based on the Sarasota-Manatee campus and is comprised of three areas:
? Faculty enhancement and credentialing,
? Student engagement and skill development, and
? Fee-based training workshops for businesses and organizations.
The CCDT program allows faculty, students, or organizations to focus individually on critical thinking, or on applying critical thinking to the creative design process.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Critical & Creative Design Thinking (C&CDT) Administrator performs higher level office support duties and provides specialized program support for the C&CDT program. The Administrator will perform a wide range of administrative and personal assistant duties including conducting research, preparing statistical reports and spreadsheets, preparing correspondence, reports and presentations, handling information requests, planning conferences and meetings, providing purchasing and payroll support, fulfilling employment administration requirements, making travel arrangements, and maintaining calendars and schedules.
The Administrator of the Critical and Creative Design Thinking program serves as the primary administrative and clerical support for the CCDT program and reports directly to the Director of the CCDT program.  The CCDT Administrator will work closely with college faculty, administrators and students on all three campuses including Institutional Research & Effectiveness, Academic & Student Affairs, and Business & Financial Affairs as well as supporting the CCDT Advisory and Implementation committees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, prioritize, and schedule meetings and appointments for the Director and other management. Make decisions daily regarding calendars. Document meetings and professional development programs  (i.e., setting agendas, drafting minutes, posting materials in Canvas and on the CCDT website and ensures setup, including handouts, audio-visual arrangements, outside speakers, etc.).  Respond to and initiate inquiries (questions regarding purchasing, personnel, facilities, administration, specialized programs, etc.). Explain policies, answer questions, and independently resolve problems whenever feasible.
Compose and/or prepare correspondence, memoranda, promotional materials, forms, newsletters, manuals, C&CDT website, presentation materials, and reports using appropriate word processing, spreadsheet tools, graphic design elements, and basic statistical calculations.
Supports fee-based training workshops for businesses and organizations and an annual C&CDT conference (i.e. Setting agendas, posting materials in Canvas, working with Event Planning for logistical and IT support including ZOOM and Microsoft Teams workshops and ensures setup, including handouts, audio-visual arrangements, coordinating presenters and their presentations, working with Innovative Education/Corporate Training for credentialing, badging and budgeting issues, and interfacing and coordinating workshops with clients etc.)
Manages business aspects of the CCDT, such as the CCDT budget, travel related to the CCDT program, p-card transactions, processing faculty stipends, purchasing, CCDT Grants, applications, awards, arrange and coordinating travel and travel reimbursement, and provides logistic support for internal and external collaborations.
For purposes of documentation of adherence to state-mandated and USF System requirements, assessment, and research, sets up and maintains databases for the CCDT program including courses, faculty participation and credentialing, student participation and awards, critical and creative design thinking resources, and in the recruitment and management of interns.
Performs other duties as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least four years of experience in an office or administrative support position. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
PREFERRED:
1.  Additional education and professional training in administrative support skills.
2.  Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Qualtrics, Excel, and Canvas.
3.  Experience with designing digital visual graphics.
4.  Experience conducting literature searches and using Zotero for reference   management.
5.  Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
6.  Interest in critical thinking, creativity, and/or design thinking.
7.  Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
SPECIAL SKILLS/TRAINING:Word processing, database management, digital presentation design skills
