Position Title: Software Engineer III, Integration
Position Summary
As a Software Engineer III, Integration you'll join our Data & Digital team helping us lead, design, and build our digital transformation and define what's next for our business-while working in an organization that's continuously investing in data and systems.
You will play a key role in designing and developing the integrations among on-prem, PaaS and SaaS applications. - JDE, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Coupa, Tax Softwares (Vertex, Avalara), Dynamics 365 and other bolt-on applications.
Working closely with the Architecture, Product Management, Master Data Management, and other Engineering teams, you will be involved in the design, implementation, and API management across ERP and other partner applications.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for platform and application integration, movement of data among systems, maintaining the data integrity with required data transformations, and ensuring error-free, timely execution.
* Determine and design changes to existing systems integrations that improve performance or enhance operations.
* Develop integration and interface strategies to facilitate business and system requirements
* Analyze new systems, work with business and technical teams, develop functional and technical requirements to integrate them with or into existing systems, primarily ERP.
* Detect and diagnose integration processing exceptions and systematically resolve them through developed solutions.
* Establish, monitor, and maintain alerting/notifications and metrics related to all integrations.
* Provide support with developing, testing and rolling out solutions, bug fixes and enhancements.
* Work in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds using DevOps or CI/CD concepts.
* Document existing and newly requested integration solutions
* Provide technical input for integration strategies and use of best practices including software integration security
Expectations:
* Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, best practices, and procedures in the field of software development in the completion of complex software engineering activities
* Guide technical teams and other engineers in pursuit of operational excellence

Education/Certifications:
* BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and executing integrations in a developer or administrator role with demonstrated use of middleware platforms.
* Experience with PaaS integration tools and building APIs and partner integrations
* Proficient in back-end languages including Java, Python, .NET and C#.
* Knowledge of database systems and SQL (MS SQL/PostgreSQL).
* Strong SQL skills for processing/analyzing large data sets and supporting the translation from user requirements to technical requirements.
* High proficiency in software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and build processes

Working Conditions: This is a remote role which may require occasional on-site collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter. Travel up to 15% may be required.
