This solution provides flexibility yet recognizes the importance of collaboration in achieving Mosaic’s “NextGEN” initiatives. Mosaic’s Supply Chain Transportation Team is seeking Logistics Coordinators to support container and laker operations.   As part of the supply chain team, you will execute the tactical logistics plan set by the commercial organization.  You will work directly with vessel owners and barge carriers to move millions of tons of cargo, playing a key role in driving Mosaic’s mission to help the world grow the food it needs.  New graduates encouraged to apply!Are you our next Logistics Coordinator?Coordinate the movement of product by container from plant to final destination by booking container freight with carriers, arranging trucks from Plant to Port, arranging labor at the port to load and deliver containers to the port, assisting the Export Coordinator team with documentation, and assisting the customer to facilitate the movement of containers from port to final destinationIdentify container opportunities through discussions with Sales, Product Management, Planning, and our Distribution NetworkCoordinate the movement of potash on laker vessels by developing the forward plan with Sales, Product Management, Planning, and our Distribution Network, setting firm laycan and cargo commitments with our laker carrier, managing the vessel operations from load to discharge, updating Veson with vessel data, arranging freight payments, and settling laytime demurrage with the CarrierVerify and process container freight payments, warehouse payments, and laytime demurrage payments by comparing invoices received with internal system dataOur Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Business or related disciplineIn lieu of a Bachelor’s degree will consider 5 years of transportation experienceAdvanced Microsoft Office skills: word, excel, etc.Ability to analyze information and make decisionsBonus Points if You Have the Following:Master’s Degree2 years of transportation/ supply chain experienceAPICS CertificationExperience/knowledge of SAPMosaic is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status.Mosaic participates in the US E-Verify program.Must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesWe Help the World Grow the Food it Needs - Apply today and join our team!
