Description:SUMMARYManager, SAP Systems (S2P & P2M) is a systems and process expert who supports and maintains financial systems in a consultative or functional role. The primary objective of this role is to support the global implementation of SAP S4/HANA with a primary focus on the Source-to-Pay and Plan-to-Manufacture process cycles.An individual in this role has experience working with cross functional teams including technical and software engineering. Both technical and functional Source-to-Pay process experience is required to independently evaluate and deliver leading practice SAP solutions for complex process problems.This is a hands-on role that is responsible for system configuration changes and testing. The manager will be accountable for the results of assigned projects and workstreams that focus on delivering process redesign and automation initiatives.Job Responsibilities Include:Lead assigned S4/HANA projects and workstreams within the source-to-pay and plan-to-manufacture process areas, witha primary focus on GameStop's Refurbishment Operations Center ("ROC").Work closely with business process owners to plan and manage the design, testing and implementation of the financial systems supporting Purchasing, Inventory Movement, and Production Order functions.Plan and manage the implementation, enhancements, and support of ERP systemsDevelop, plan, and execute testing strategies and scenariosMake key decisions on setup of system ensuring that all functionality and internal controls are incorporatedDevelop and document new finance system procedures and identify areas where training is needed working closely with functional business process ownersDevelop and deliver functional training to end users ensuring effective utilization of SAP financial systemsManage the conversion of data to financial systems and reconcile to ensure data integrityCoordinate and lead system-related projects and initiatives such as, new system functionality and/or new technologies, working closely with technical staffManage and execute the SAP roadmap and continued assessment of applications throughout the organizationUnderstand current state finance system and business processes, identify gaps, propose improvements, and evaluate solution alternativesResearch source-to-pay best practices to identify and implement capabilities that drive optimization of processes and automation through financial systems technology including existing and emerging technologiesWork closely with leadership to define priorities, direction, and timelinesProvide inputs into resource plans, budgets, tracking and forecastingBasic Qualifications / Requirements / Skills:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline5+ yrs. experience hands-on configuration of SAP S4/HANA7+ yrs. functional experience in an Accounting, Procurement, or Accounts Payable role2+ SAP S4/HANA implementation cyclesAbility to lead project workshops for global user baseProficient ability to build consensus among groupsBasic knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and other control objectivesPreferred QualificationsMBA or CPASAP consulting firm experience5+ yrs. of experience in financial transformation roles5+ yrs. of project management experience5+ yrs. experience in a functional role using SAP S4/HANAExpert level understanding of SAP architecture, tables, reporting toolsExpert understanding of enterprise business process integrations and workflows
