We heard you knock!Internship Learning Outcomes:As a Talent Acquisition – Early Careers Intern, you will work for the Early Careers & University Relations Manager creating Playbooks on the processes of hiring interns and rotational program employees. Intern assignments will be project-oriented and focus on the Human Resources Centers of Excellence including: Talent Acquisition & Organization Development. Assignments vary according to business need and intern qualifications. All are designed to stretch your skills and to support your professional development by providing clear goals and actionable feedback on your performance. In addition, you will be participating in a program that encompasses:Approximately eleven-week summer assignment at Masonite’s corporate headquarters in Tampa, FloridaDevelopment of personal and professional skills through training, networking and mentoring relationshipsInteractions with senior leaders during intern activities such as lunch-and-learn events and leadership dialoguesThe opportunity to build teamwork skills through interaction with other interns and colleaguesLeadership Relationships: Manager, Early Careers & University RelationsVP, Talent AcquisitionManager, Talent AcquisitionResponsibilities and Accountabilities:Support Talent Acquisition with ongoing or new projects - may include recruiting, data and/or market analysis, writing playbooks, on-boarding, engagement, compliance, or talent development Maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilitiesExhibit strong verbal and written communication skillsEstablish and maintain effective relationships with management and employeesExchange information clearly and concisely and to present ideas, report facts, and other pertinent informationWill work effectively both autonomously and within a team environmentMinimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:Currently enrolled in a university at the Sophomore, Junior or Senior levelMajor: Business, Human Resources or Organizational Development or relatedGPA: 3.3 minimumProficient with the Microsoft Office suite and other business applicationsStrong Interpersonal Communication SkillsIntegrity and ConfidentialityProblem Solving SkillsResults OrientationBusiness AcumenMasonite is an equal opportunity employerOpen to extraordinary!
