Citi launched a Data Transformation program to become a data driven organization and to improve the quality of the information the bank produces to ensure the bank’s information is complete, accurate and timely for external and internal users. The Data Transformation program is a key component of Citi’s overall Transformation program.Citi’s Institutional Clients Group (ICG) has established a Fist Line Substantive Testing to ensure that the Data Transformation remediation is fit for purpose and addresses the regulatory/consent order ask.Job Description:The ICG Technology Data Quality Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.Responsibilities:Manages a team of experienced professionals in Data Analytics and Audit/Compliance.Applies comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.Build relationships with ICG, CDO, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit stakeholdersMaintains creation and signoff of program plan and charter, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log.Ensures program plans meet business needs as described in the program initiation documents; all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities; stakeholders understand the program schedule and key milestones; program stakeholders receive schedule status regularly; funding has been approved for the program; areas of the program are appropriately staffed; program commitment from those assigning resources.Escalates program risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, when appropriate.Monitors vendor performance and ensures actions are taken if performance warrants.Maintains appropriate staffing requirements to meet operational needs.Exercises shared responsibility for budget, policy formulation and planning.Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions.Heavy interaction with technology and Business operations teams.Ensures that the system impact for any related systems are taken into effect in the change management process prior to implementationResponsible for reporting findings, and recommending appropriate technology interventions, where needed.Applies knowledge and understanding of the businesses to solving a great variety of problems - by working directly with the senior business leaders.Is consulted often by others for advice and opinions. businesses should rely on his/her abilities to deliver the desired solution without feeling it necessary to monitor the progress at the micro level.Develop strategies to reduce costs, Manage risk, and enhance services.Use of influence skills and matrix management skills in order to Ensure IMR solutions meet business requirements.Interacts with operations Compliance and business Line senior management, ARR, external regulators.Proactively advances integrated Global IMR vision, concepts and Use of information technology.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Qualifications:Excellent oral communication and writing skills in interacting with non-executives and executive management and across a number of business lines and control functionsMust be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptiveHighly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organizedStrong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global partners in other functional units;
