The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.Responsibilities:Strong hands-on expertise in design and development of core Java applicationsAnalyze user requirements, envision system features and functionalityPrepare functional and technical development specifications to build high performance reference data stores for our trading systemsInterface with global team of developers and business usersPerform proof of concepts in the new areas of developmentSupport continuous improvement of the automated systemsParticipate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation)Work in a fast paced and dynamic environmentExercise your working understanding of Agile development methodologies and understanding of DevOps IntegrationHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.Qualifications:3-5 years of relevant experienceExperience in systems analysis and programming of software applicationsExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsWorking knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methodsAbility to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirementsEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
