JPMC Banking Production Management (PM) Organization is seeking a quality conscious, technical, analytical person, to become part of us as we revolutionize the way we work to support global applications.  The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to and resolving production incidents across the banking technology products. The candidate will work with development, project management, product management, business project directors, QA, client implementation, audit, IT Risk, Client Tech Support Staff, and other support groups for both Production and test environments.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Must be either a citizen of the United States or a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) having resided continuously in the US for 7 years.
• 5+ years of IT systems/application support/development experience
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering with at least 10 years’ experience
• Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, a plus
• Experience in Windows, Power shell, Active Directory, JAVA (core and frameworks)
• At least 5 years hands-on experience in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support leveraging tools such as: GIT, JIRA, HPSM, Geneos, Jenkins, Selenium, ServiceNow, Splunk, DynaTrace, Autosys, and Control-M
• At least 5 years hands-on experience architecting, designing and developing solutions for large and complex applications in both Unix/Linux and Windows environments
• At least 5 years hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting production issues in a large scale enterprise consisting of distributed and shared infrastructure (greater than 250 servers globally) amid noise – this includes problem identification, root cause analysis and solution recommendation/implementation
• Understanding of network and cloud technologies ie: security, load balancing, and network routing protocols
• Demonstrative experience eliciting requirements from multiple business stakeholders
• Demonstrative knowledge of windows server, group policy, OS
• Experience with J&B Software Products such as TMS, JBAide is a plus
• Financial Institution experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Application Development, Infrastructure, Operations, Product and Vendor as part of DevOps culture
• Collaborate and manage all production changes are made in accordance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, application and business risk, technology controls guidelines, and error budget constraints
• Support the day-to-day maintenance with a focus on reducing toil or technical debt of the applications while maintaining a high degree of system availability
• Develop deep analytical application knowledge using root cause analysis in collaboration with both technical and business partners while identifying and implementing action plans to prevent reoccurrence
• Deliver and work with all stakeholders to complete projects/tasks with high quality, while learning new skills
• Monitor application, jobs, file transfers and processes while establishing pro-active processes for monitoring, issue avoidance and improvement of customer service
• Incident management as per ITIL – mitigate, facilitate, coordinate, escalate, and document impacting incidents
Weekend and after hours support as necessary especially during peak months

Skills & Knowledge Requirements
Working knowledge of Linux / Windows operating systems
• Hands On experience with writing and executing SQL in SQL Server 2012 and/or other database applications desired
• Scripting – Solid understanding of scripting such as VBScript, Python , PowerShell
• 3+ years experience – SQL, Windows admin, JIRA/Bit bucket/Oracle/Java, Python, Powershell
• Proven expertise in application development and support environment with more than one technology and multiple design techniques
• Advanced knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming (Java, Python, .Net, C++, etc.)
• Understanding of risk controls and compliance to departmental and company-wide standards
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• Must possess excellent communications skills (oral and written) and be able to message to the appropriate audience
• Must possess superior time management skills to manage changing and sometime conflicting priorities
• Possess knowledge and understanding of network devices and their functions
