Chemical Operator - Night Shift
inSync is offering a premium pay rate of $25.00/hour
Duration 90 days
Hours 12 hour shifts - 2/2/3 Schedule 6:45pm to 7am with a 30 minute lunch (may need to train on the day shift)
Location Salisbury, NC
Respiratory fit test required and no facial hair allowed
Qualifications: Education & Professional Requirements • Must possess knowledge of safe handling practices with packaging adhesives • Chemical packaging experience preferred or minimum of 2 years related manufacturing experience • Prefer knowledge in LEAN manufacturing principles or work environment • Work with others in a respectful manner and as a member of the team, to achieve all goals set forth in the department • Must be self-motivated and a strong team player • Demonstrated excellent attendance and reliability • High school diploma or GED • Strong commitment to safety systems and OSHA required standards • Flexibility to work overtime, extended shifts and/or other shifts on occasion
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for packing and assisting chemical operators in the production of adhesives in a manufacturing environment. Duties and Responsibilities • Operate processing equipment to assist in the manufacturing and packaging of products into various containers with minimal supervision. • Maintain data recording that includes time, weights, must be legible and timely • Use handheld scanners to perform data entries • Be able to use Powered Industrial Trucks/Equipment (PIT) to move materials around the site once trained • Comply with all site safety procedures and equipment operating instructions • Participate in 5S and sustain clean work area • Follow all SHE requirements implemented by the client as well as state and federal mandates that apply to our product and raw material inventoryPhysical Requirements • Lift up to and not exceed 50lbs (22.7 Kgs) during processes • Climb and descend stairs several times per day in work area. • Stand continuously and walk frequently during the shift • Wear full face respirator and/or proper PPE • Work in non-climate-controlled work area
