The Opportunity
We are looking for a VP, Expansion Market Operations leader who will support the overall growth strategy, developing new lines of business.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Overseeing the implementation of new market development or acquisition integration plan
• Developing market strategic plan that comprises operational, financial, and growth priorities
• Leading value-based care transition and provider compensation plan rollout
• Negotiating value-based agreements with key payer partners in market
• Managing the relationships of the health plan partners and vendors, as needed, throughout integration
• Driving necessary actions to achieve profitability
• Driving medical expense Initiative identification and implementation process
• Supporting sourcing and hiring of local team and leadership
• Partnering with FP&A on expansion market pro forma development
• Driving organic growth playbook execution and marketing tactics to grow assigned membership
• Overseeing integration and transition plans; partnering with new market resources and partners to execute against key initiatives for that market
• Supporting and leading other internal projects as directed
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or higher preferred
• 7+ years of experience owning P&L, market operations, business development, network development, and/or sales and marketing functions
• Proven track record of growing top and bottom-line business results
• Prior industry experience specific to government-sponsored healthcare and primary care network development
• Experience developing and executing a multi-state growth strategy preferred
• Proven M&A and post-merger integration experience preferred
• Proven experience organizing and directing a team; experience managing team members and leading through influence (without direct/hard-line reporting relationships)
• Experience building high-performing teams and leading transformational change efforts
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable communicating with senior-level leadership, providers, and health plans
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must be results-oriented with a focus on quality execution and delivery
• Appreciation of cultural diversity and sensitivity towards target patient populations
• Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
