John Bales Attorneys, a plaintiffs personal injury law firm, located in downtown Tampa is seeking a full time litigation legal assistant. We have been serving Florida for over 22 years and are looking for a litigation legal assistant with a minimum of two (2) years prior experience to work with our litigation team.
The proper candidate must provide superior client service while professionally completing the following responsibilities:
• Communication with clients
• Scheduling and calendaring client meetings, hearings, depositions, mediations, court deadlines, etc.
• Draft, prepare, and review documents including complaints, discovery responses, motions, correspondence, etc.
• Liaison between attorneys, clients, experts, witnesses, and other outside contacts
• Organize and maintain litigation files through the use of electronic filing systems
• Assist in trial preparation and discovery practice including gathering and organizing exhibits, trial data, documents and other materials in response to subpoenas, discovery requests, interrogatories, etc.
