Job Summary:
The Director of Account Management will drive efforts to extend Transflo's market share within its current customer accounts serving the Transportation industry, both nationwide and in Canada. This includes relationship building with both internal and external customers, retaining existing customers revenue, generating net new business within the customer base, and Managing the Account Management team, all to guarantee that Transflo exceeds its goals
Job Responsibilities
• Builds a high-performing team by accomplishing Sales Management human resource objectives thru recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining the Account Management team
• Leads process for Account Management team in preparing long-term and short-term goals and account objectives
• Take overall responsibility and accountability for the direction, strategy, delivery, and quality of Transflo accounts, leading account management to achieve their goals
• Achieve Net New Business and revenue targets to achieve growth across Transflo's account base
• Align with marketing and sales leaders and teams to strategically and predictably retain customers revenue while increasing Net New Business
• Resolves problems, identify trends, determines Account Management system improvements, and implements change when necessary
• Leads team in creating client presentations to pitch and refine opportunities
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of customer organizations and high visibility within them, demonstrating quality contact with senior-level client stakeholders
• Assist in maintaining departmental policies and procedures and recommend updates or improvements
• Maintain an expert understanding of Transflo's product and product lines
• Maintain an expert understanding of the Industry's trends, problems, and opportunities
• Maintain an expert understanding of competitors'
• Effectively communicate consistently with internal teams and customers
• Adhere to all company policies and processes
• Travel up to 50%
Qualifications
Skills/Abilities/Education/Job Experience
• BA/BS Degree in Business or related field, required
• 5 years of proven leadership of account management exp.
• Passion for sales, exemplary work ethic, and a drive to succeed
• Proven ability to build and maintain internal and external customer relationships
• Exemplary ability to lead a team to success
• Excellent and effective verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and exceptional analytical ability
• High threshold for stress related to the expectation of sales targets
• Professional, articulate, approachable, flexible, respectful, honest, and considerate
Physical Demands
