Ivy Rehab?has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a?Director of University Relations!?This position will have the ability to work remotely with travel across our clinical regions.
The?Director of University Relations?will report to the Director of Clinical Operations.?In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of the Ivy Rehab student program, the formation of relationships with educational institutions and coordinating student placements through Ivy's Regional Site Coordinators of Clinical Education (R-SCCE's) with support from the Clinical Services Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities
* Review current contracts with affiliating institutions; recommend amendments and execute new contracts and maintain liability certificates
* Serve as the primary contact for student reservations with all affiliating institutions; connect student requests with Regional SCCE's and requested sites.
* Develop a culture of high-quality clinical education and mentorship between Ivy Clinical Instructors and students
* Attract new clinical instructors within Ivy; provide coaching and orientation programs for new CI's
* Interact with Ivy operational leadership to promote and grow the student program
* Take initiative to enhance the university relations strategy and current university engagement playbook
* Lead program enhancements in student orientation and onboarding process; record keeping and reporting; and the development of Clinical Instructors
* Lead the communication with Regional SCCE team; monitor compliance with student program standards and work with Regional Directors to assure timely, positive student experiences
* Connect student to employment opportunities with Ivy regional leadership and Talent Acquisition.
* In tandem with Talent Acquisition, provide periodic Ivy Rehab communication to affiliating partners (example: biannual newsletter)
* Update and maintain centralized documents on the Ivy intranet - the Vine; review with legal department as needed
Requirements
* Minimum of entry level clinical degree in chosen field (PT, OT, SLP)
* Minimum 3 years of patient care experience required
* Minimum 2 Years of Experience in leadership roles, student coordination preferred
* Previous experience as a Clinical Instructor for therapy students (PT, OT, SLP)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite with emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint
* Outstanding organizational and communication skills
* A roll-up your sleeves mentality; a willingness to jump in when needed and take initiative
* Ability to lead and coach a team; establish a road map for project management
* Ability to work from home / remote with occasional travel into our clinical regions, chapter meetings (APTA, ASHA, AOTA, CSM), and onsite career fairs
