About the Role:
Cadence Coalition is looking for a Sr. Security Engineer with a Secret clearance a Security + and an Cybersecurity certification with 9 years of creating a cybersecurity roadmap as well as leading the implementation. This individual would have in-depth knowledge of security engineering in a Windows/Linux environment and be an expert in DoD/DISA Information Assurance (IA) requirements, NIST SP 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 security controls, Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Experience with the following is required:
IPS/IDS capabilities
ACAS/NESSUS, SCAP, HBSS, CMRS
Cybersecurity applications and tools
Familiarity with McAfee Products
Experience in a Virtual environment, as well as Windows/Linux
Experience with Microsoft Visio Diagram
Must Haves:
Clearance: Secret
Certification: Security +, Cybersecurity industry cert
Location/Work Environment:
MacDill, AFB (Tampa, FL), on-site and the hours will be Mon - Friday Flexible 8 hours within the core business day.
