Job Description
This job can live anywhere in the West Coast statesThe Vice President of Regional Sales provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the region's sales function. The VP of Regional Sales will drive revenue growth of our Home Health region business through the development and execution of repeatable, actionable, and scalable processes, designed to expand healthcare marketplace presence and overachieved annual admission, revenue, and EBITDA targets. This role will plan and create strategic and tactical plans and policies to achieve the mission and vision of the sales team for the Home Health Regional division.Accountable for effective region sales roles, sales channel design, and sales resource deploymentMeets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectivesLeads annual target setting process and compensation plan review/design for effectiveness.Leads region sales organization change initiatives.Participates in the strategic planning process of the Home Health division and company with executive managementCreate and drive a culture of accountability and achievement for both short-term and long-term goals and objectives across the sales and client success teams.Work closely with senior regional management team to maximize strategic initiatives at the field operating levelProvide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, sales forecasting and trends, and financial reporting and interpretation for presentation to the CEO, CFO, COO, and senior leadership teamEnsure the region operates in compliance with internal standards, external customer standards, and local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operationsSkills/Abilities/Expectations:Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, insurance, self-insurance, managed care, utilization/care management, and therapy/rehabilitation services, and related pricing modelsDemonstrates forward-thinking approaches to selling techniques in a rapidly changing environmentMust exhibit efficiency, collaboration, candor, and results orientationCustomer-focused leader (external and internal)Shows the highest level of integrity, intent, ability, and results in all endeavors building trust with all stakeholdersKnowledge of legislation and changes affecting reimbursement policies and payer incentivesAnalytical and metrics-drivenExceptional communication skills in all public and private settings, including strong formal presentation skillsExperience with Salesforce and other sales-related solutions including market intelligence dataAble to collaborate with senior leadership on budget variances, including justifications and/or developing corrective measuresAbility to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and contractsExcellent persuasion and negotiation skillsMust read, write and speak fluent English.Must have good and regular attendance.Approximate percent of time required to travel: 50% Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required; Masters's degree preferredMinimum 8 years of sales leadership in a business-to-business sales environment.
