This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 8:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work on holidays. Employees may have to go onsite occasionally.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and supervise daily/weekly/monthly activities of a team members
• Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met
• Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc.
• Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
• Provide coaching, feedback and annual performance reviews as well as formal corrective action
• Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily/weekly/monthly activities of team members including:
• Simple and Complex Claim research
• Responsible for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers, including responding to escalated callers
• Manages team commitment inventory
• Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met
• Coordinates work activities with other Supervisors, Specialists, Business Partners, etc.
• Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
• Provides coaching and feedback to team members, including coaching as well as formal corrective action
• Conducts performance reviews for team members
• Direct phone-based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries
• Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit
• Provide expertise and claims support to the team in reviewing, researching, investigating, processing and adjusting claims
• Review all quality errors for the team identifying coaching opportunities and rebuttals
• Provide coaching and mentoring to address skill gaps
• Monitor IEX as back - up to the supervisor to assist with team production and to identify if coaching or assistance is needed
• Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines
• Assist workforce management with tasks and follow up

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• 1+ years of claim processing experience
• 1+ years of Supervisory experience
• Experience with United Medical Resources Claims Processing System (UMR CPS)
• Ability to work between the hours of 8:00am - 8:00pm
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Telecommuting Requirements:
• Reside within commutable distance to Tampa, FL
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Soft Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport and respond to customers in a compassionate manner
• Skilled in problem solving to quickly assess current state and formulate recommendations
• Ability to multi - task within a variety of different programs and systems
• Demonstrated mentoring / coaching abilities
• Meeting all expectations associated with Customer First Representative position
