Cole, Scott & Kissane, an AV-rated litigation firm, is seeking a full-time, experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Legal Assistant for its Tampa office. Applicants should have 2+ years of civil litigation experience, be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills and be well organized in order to join our fast-growing team.

Responsibilities
· Provide administrative support to two lawyers
· Handle all scheduling communication and maintain calendars
· Locate and develop case relevant information
· Prepare routine correspondence and file/serve in accordance with court procedures
· Follow client guidelines and firm policies
Qualifications
· Experience in legal assistance in the area of insurance defense
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Familiarity with law, legal procedures, scheduling and protocols
· Florida E-Portal Filing
Experience scheduling with Mediators/Experts/Adverse Parties/Courts
