As a Senior Tax Analyst you, will be responsilble for reconciling tax accounts, preparing tax payment estimates for the state and federal income tax jurisdictions.
Accountant responsibilities:
• Discuss inter-company accounting and relate issues to management; manage implementation of changes and updates in processes across various company entities.
• Reconcile multiple accounts under GAAP and SOX compliance methods.
• Prepare sales/use tax reclassification journal entries for monthly closing and perform quarterly and annual sales/use tax accounts reconciliation for SOX control.
• Develop and generate ERP system reports, meeting standard reporting needs.
• Help implement, and maintain federal and state tax provision information into OneSource.
• Prepare federal and state tax provisions (ASC 740 and IAS 12) and provision to return true-ups.
• Maintain client accounts, general ledgers, write-ups, reconcile bank statements, and generate various financials reports according to GAAP.
• Create, maintain and update financial reports and analyses, as well as training and testing material for new ERP systems.
• Wrote/Review responses to IRS audit inquiries regarding international issues.
• Analyze historical information to complete IRS audit requests for information.
• Involve in researching, drawing and implementing tax-efficient structure, maintaining SOX reporting documentation.
• Assist and ensuring compliance with company internal control policies and procedures and identify areas for improvement/consistency in the application across division.
• Reconcile taxes with the relocation expenses to ensure year-end W2 calculations are accurate.
• Analyze and review tax with holdings by paying attention to details and other benefits deduction on form W2 for accuracy.
• Interpret partnership and LLC operating agreements, as well as asset management agreements, loan documents and additional legal documents.
