Job Summary Provides nursing leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care. # Job Responsibilities Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Responds to requests for assistance with patient care. Ensures staff compliance with department and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes. Responds to complaints and addresses complaints through established channels. Coordinates organizational resources to facilitate patient flow. Performs job duties in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Qualifications Bachelor#s degree or higher in Nursing required upon hire A minimum of 2 years# relevant experience required RN - Licensed as a Registered Nurse. Eligible to practice nursing in the State of Kentucky required upon hire AND BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 45 days of employment in this position AND CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute certification required within 90 days of employment in this position OR MOAB - Management of Aggressive Behavior required within 90 days of employment in this position Skills and Attributes Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
