Job Description
The Director Product Management will raise the bar by bringing more focus on building extensible products that support pharmacy patients on their therapy journey. CVS's Digital Pharmacy Solutions product team manages the websites and apps for Caremark, CVS Specialty Pharmacy and CVS Pharmacy. Patients / members use these digital products to access and manage medication dispensed by 3 different pharmacies (retail, mail order and specialty). To deliver a more consistent patient experience we are developing a core pharmacy platform and seeking a passionate product leader with experience building multi-tenant platforms.
The right candidate will bring a consumer centric product mindset to lead a team of Product Managers and Product Owners who are focused on transforming our pharmacy applications to deliver a superior health care experience to our patients / members. This Director role is responsible for developing the digital program vision/strategy and ensuring internal product stakeholder's needs and expectations are met.
Position Responsibilities
• Set Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap Ownership and Development for Product Teams
• Make decisions, in partnership with senior business leaders, on digital investments and priorities
• Develop business cases, makes recommendations, and defines what success will look like for Epics that are critical to driving value for CVS Health strategic priorities.
• Responsible for translating customer and business needs into short term and long-term product direction (outcome roadmap)
• Assures product strategy is followed from internal pilots to external launch
• Program Backlog Ownership/Prioritization
• Prioritizes and aligns the efforts of agile product teams and epics/features associated with programs - managing the flow of work through the program and into the program backlog.
• Owns the program backlog, pricing, licensing, and ROI
• Identifies dependencies among the teams
• Works with RTEs, when roadblocks occur, to problem solve and develop mitigation plans.
• Escalates risks and issues to program backlog to stakeholder along with providing recommendations on tradeoffs and solutions.
• Establishes feature acceptance criteria
• Trend Monitoring and Customer Value Assessment.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 120,000
Maximum: 265,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Product and Program management.
3+ years of experience managing Platform Products.
3+ years of Performance Management and Leadership experience.
5+ years of experience in Agile software development processes.
Ability to travel up to 10% for quarterly in-person planning events.
This is a remote / telework position

Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare Product Experience.
Experience building newly established teams.
Experience hiring / managing contract resources and retaining domain knowledge after they leave.
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
