Job Description
The essential function of the position within the organization is to provide broad administrative, organizational , and clerical support. The position is responsible for administrative and clerical tasks of significant responsibility.
The position works under general supervision independently developing work methods and sequences.
The AAII assists with the processing of certain appeals, motions, and petitions. Processing these matters includes tracking cases and preparing reports and orders.
This position works under the supervision of the Director of Central Staff.
Education and Training Guidelines
Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant experience.
An AA degree, and additional years of experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the education.
Competencies
The position requires careful attention to detail for accurate results, application of guidelines and rules, and the ability to creatively adjust to a variety of changing workflow demands.
Professional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated time management and excellent word processing skills; knowledge of Excel is preferred.
