Citi requires that all successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment and provide proof of such vaccination prior to commencement of US employment.Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager - Citi Global SourcingAs a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager within Citi’s Global Sourcing (CGS) function, you will become a member of a high-performing team that identifies and leads complex, cross-functional strategic sourcing, contracting, and other key strategic initiatives supporting Citi’s Enterprise Operations & Technology, Global Functions Technology Organization.    Global Functions Technology (GFT) is an important enabler of Citi's strategy, supporting the needs of Finance, Risk, Compliance, HR, and other regulatory requirements.  GFT delivers world-class technology solutions for Citi's Global Functions through the use of common data, analytics and platforms to enable Citi to meet regulatory commitments, mitigate risk and operate in a cost-effective manner with highly effective controls.The core objective of this senior position is to deliver world-class strategic sourcing services to the EOT/Global Functions Technology organization partnering with key stakeholders on Strategic Sourcing, Strategy and Planning, Supplier Management, Demand Management, and Resource and Location Strategies.  Expense categories of product and services that the Sr. Sourcing Manager will support include but are not limited to Software/SaaS, IT Professional Services, Application Development and Maintenance, and Outsourced Services/Operations. The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in executing and leading complex sourcing initiatives and negotiating contracts across the above categories in a complex global multinational organization.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Lead sourcing activities including the development of sourcing strategies, conduct complex negotiations, productivity improvement initiatives, and manage internal customer and external supplier relationships   Establish and own the proactive relationship management of key stakeholders and internal clients to develop and execute global sourcing strategiesAct as a trusted partner and take a consultative approach to enhancing critical relationships with internal stakeholders. Seek, analyze, and support opportunities to drive change, as well as add value to the business and its customersBuild a strong understanding of the strategic business direction, requirements, and priorities across assigned businesses, suppliers, and spend categoriesProactively identify sourcing opportunities to achieve savings targets and business objectivesExecute and/or manage a robust portfolio of Sourcing initiatives across the end-to-end sourcing and contracting processLeading and executing sourcing projects including RFx, benchmarking and analysis, supplier and proposal evaluation, contract development and negotiationsPerform financial modeling, leading the development and execution of negotiation strategies for technology deals including demand scenario modeling, P&L impact analysis and benchmark comparisonsDraft, redline and negotiate technology contract documents and lead negotiations of all terms and conditions and pricing with support from internal partners including Legal, Risk, Architecture, Information Security, Privacy, etc.Managing supplier risk while ensuring supplier performance is appropriately governed and quality/productivity enhancedDesigning and executing resource strategies that optimize labor globally ensuring the right resources, in the right roles and best processes, in the right locations, from the right sources, at the right total costsAppropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Manage key supplier relationships with a focus on quality, service, delivery, risk and cost.Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Citi’s policies and procedures related to Sourcing, Contracting and Supplier Risk Management ensuring all requirements are met and documented throughout the end-to-end process.Qualifications:10+ years of previous Sourcing, Contracting  and Business-related experience with a proven track record of leading large, complex technology sourcing and/or contracting projectsSignificant hands-on and leadership experience in the sourcing of IT Professional Services, Enterprise and Business Application Software/SaaS, and other related and relevant products and services is a plus.Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization; Financial Services industry experience is a plusDemonstrated stakeholder management, relationship management, and influencing skillsThorough understanding of complex SaaS/Software, IT Professional Services, and other IT related product contract terms and conditions including  an in-depth knowledge and understanding of software/SaaS and related services such as perpetual, term and subscription agreements, maintenance and support and other IT products.Strong financial modeling and deal structuring skillsExperience successfully partnering with groups outside of Sourcing for deal completion such as Legal, Risk, IT, Information Security, Privacy, etc.Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership on a regular basisHigh integrity and ethics.Experience leading and managing teamsKnowledge and experience with Procurement applications (e.g. eRFx, eAuction, GEP, P2P)Certified Purchase Professional such as CPM or CIPS preferredProject Management certification (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma is a plus but not requiredEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferred-------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Corporate Services-------------------------------------------------Job Family:Supply Chain------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Citigroup Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi”) invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
