As the Asset Service Client Support Generalist, you will quickly interpret, research, accurately resolve, and clearly communicate resolutions to clients' inquiries about Corporate Action/Reorganization (Reorg) events, Bond Principal and Income (P&I), Dividends, Redemption payments, Proxy, and Billing and Custody. You will demonstrate commitment to the team by collaborating with and supporting each other to resolve clients' inquiries and accomplishing team and individual goals.
Your Responsibilities
• Strong Research Skills: Determine how to best resolve clients’ inquiries after quickly and thoroughly researching internal and client resources (PSUPR/PTS/PBS/CA WEB) and external resources such as vendors, Paying Agents’ websites, and Industry websites, such as MSRB’s EMMA and Freddie Mac
• Strong Analytical Skills: Interpret prospectuses and Agents’ statements to calculate, challenge, and confirm bond P&I announcement data, rate calculations, payment details, and misallocations
• Review and understand the Agent and Issuer announcements, instructions, and entitlements of mandatory and voluntary reorg events; and continually evaluate ASBS processes and procedures looking to increase efficiencies and reduce costs and risks
• Strong Problem Solving Skills: Communicate professionally with clients on the phone and in writing throughout the resolution process: providing timely, accurate, and pertinent information to ensure clients completely understand the issues surrounding their inquiry, how their case is progressing, and the resolution details
• Strong Relationship Building Skills: Continually strengthen, enhance, and support relationships with clients to enhance DTCC’s brand and ensure a positive client experience. Build and strengthen partnerships with the 3rd parties which support ASBS, including DTCC’s Operations teams and Paying Agents. Support and motivate team members in our efforts to provide excellent class client service

Talents Needed For Success:
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred with Master’s or equivalent experience
